In-house Writer
A longtime South Florida journalist and writer, Emily joined Inspirit in 2015 and helps us get our story out. Working directly with founder Ginny Meredith, Emily attends performances, helps profile musicians and audience members on our website, bugs the local media – television and newspapers! – to remind them we’re worth covering, and even pens a Thank You or two. (One time she wrote a few of them upside down, but Ginny just wrote this off to her creativity.) After leaving newspapers in 2008 and starting her own freelance writing business, Emily finds working with Inspirit both fun and inspiring. At this place, everyone has a story!
